Social Learning Therapy was developed by Albert Bandura. This theory is about modeling and how it has more than just an impact on behavior. Modeling can change our cognitions about our abilities and improve self-efficacy. Observing someone we respect and admire can help reduce our fears and facilitate our own efforts to perform a task. People with strong beliefs in their own self-efficacy are more likely to face problems head on. Self-efficacy impacts how a person thinks, feels, behaves, and motivates themselves.
